KL Rahul became the ninth batsman out for 199

Chennai: KL Rahul falls on 199 on third day of fifth and final Test against England at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chepauk, Chennai on Sunday.

He became the ninth batsman to be out one run short of 200 in a Test when he lobbed Adil Rashid to point.

Pakistan' Mudassar Nazar was the first batsman to misses double century by one run against India on 24-October 1984 at Faisalabad.

Rahul was second man after Mohammad Azharuddin against Sri Lanka at Kanpur on 17 December 1986.
