England v Pakistan, 3rd ODI, The Oval

3rd ODI - Pak Elect to Bat Against England

London: Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi  won the toss and elected to bat as his side attempted to get back into the one-day series in the third match against England at the Oval on Friday.

Pakistan, who trail 2-0 in the five-game series, made one change from the last match at Headingley on Sunday, bringing in Abdul Razzaq, who has shoulder and back trouble in for Mohammad Irfan.

England also made one change leaving out Paul Collingwood and bringing in Luke Wright of Sussex.

Victory for England would clinch the five-match series after their wins at Durham and Leeds and continue their successful summer.

So far they have beaten Bangladesh in Tests and one-dayers, Australia in one-dayers and Pakistan in Tests and Twenty20s.

But their run of wins, which has taken them up to second in the ODI world rankings, has been overshadowed by the allegations of spot fixing which have blighted the Pakistani team and led to three of their squad returning home.
