Australia Bat, Tendulkar, M Hussey Rested

Adelaide: Peter Forrest made his ODI debut at the Adelaide Oval, and was due to bat at No. 4 in the first innings of the match, after Michael Clarke won the toss and chose to bat in good batting conditions on a warm day. Michael Hussey was rested.

Gautam Gambhir comes back to in place of Tendulkar and Umesh Yadav replaces Praveen Kumar. The middle order remained the same. India made another change, bringing in Umesh Yadav ahead of Praveen Kumar. Whether Praveen was dropped, resterd or injured, Dhoni didn't say.

The last time India stepped out to play at the Adelaide Oval, their worst fears of a Test whitewash came true. This time around they return in a much better frame of mind and appear keen to take on the Aussies.
