Dravid Slams 35th Test Ton Surpass Gavaskar and Lara

New Delhi: The man in crisis for India, Rahul Dravid scored his 35th Test hundred to go past Gavaskar and Lara on Day 4 of the fourth Test match against England at The Oval.

Dravid as usual came out this morning all determined to bail India out of crisis and started the fourth day steadily to score a fighting century when his team needed the most.

James Anderson dismissed skipper MS Dhoni to claim India's sixth wicket on the fourth day, who looked quite off-colour on Saturday

Anderson, who bowled only five overs on the third day seemed to be in rhythm when he managed the ball to move just away from Dhoni to induce a healthy edge.

India were looking down the barrel with the top batsmen back in the pavilion when the visitors started their innings on Day 4 and the onus on Rahul Dravid to save the match.

Hapless India slumped to 103 for five at stumps in their first innings on the third day after a sublime double century from Ian Bell had fired England to 591 for 6 declared.
