NSW Blues Complete Easy Win Over Mumbai Indians

Chennai: Steven Smith (45*) and Ben Rohrer (26*) led New South Wales to an emphatic five-wicket win against Mumbai Indians in their Champions League T20 clash.

Smith and Rohrer put up an undefeated 73-run stand for the sixth wicket as NSW chased down the 101-un victory target in 17 overs.

The partnership came after Abu Nechim took three wickets in three overs to dent NSW run chase.

Nechim took his third wicket when he had Daniel Smith caught behind by Ambati Rayudu.

NSW lost their fifth wicket at 28 when Yuzvendra Chahal trapped Moises Henriques plumb in front of the wicket.

Earlier, Stuart Clark and Steve O'Keefe took two wickets each as New South Wales restricted Mumbai Indians to 100 for 7.

James Franklin top scored for Mumbai with an unbeaten 40 that came off 50 balls with the help of 5 fours.
