South Africa v Bangladesh, Twenty20 Johannesburg On Wednesday Nov 05, 2008

Johannesburg: Bangladesh have only beaten South Africa once in their history but their captain, Mohammad Ashraful, was cheerily optimistic about his side's fortunes in the forthcoming series.

Bangladesh played good cricket against New Zealand but unfortunately he lost both series, although they had good chances to win. Against NZ Shakib al-Hasan and Mashrafe Mortaza showed all-rounder performance.

Now, Bangladesh will be facing ICC Test Player's fired-up, and fit-again, Dale Steyn. Bangladesh played three ODI and two Test match after Twenty20 international.

Graeme Smith will miss Wednesday's Twenty20 against Bangladesh in Johannesburg to enable him to concentrate on his rehabilitation programme after his elbow injury. Johan Botha, who led South Africa to a 2-0 victory over Kenya over the weekend, will continue as captain.
