Lions v South Australia, CLT20 2010, Centurion

South Australia Face Upbeat Highveld Lions

Centurion: The Highveld Lions roared big time on Friday night, making the Mumbai Indians' worst fears come true in a game which seemed closed till the end but actually was more in the host's bag throughout.

Though the batsmen set up the Lions' win on Friday, Shane Burger applied the finishing touch with his medium-pace, bowling Tendulkar and Kieron Pollard in consecutive overs. He will look to be on target once again with his full-pitched deliveries.

However, the South African side must move on from that and look to put their best foot forward as they now get set to battle the second best T20 team of Australia.

Redbacks do not have an easy task as they would be facing some tough battles, having to go up against competitive teams such as Bangalore, Mumbai, Guyana and the locals Lions in their group.

South Australia have arrived with a new leadership team of Michael Klinger and his deputy, Callum Ferguson. Neither batsman has a reputation for being a hitter and Ferguson, who has a T20 strike-rate under 110, hasn't played since injuring his knee in the 2009 Champions Trophy final.
