Central Districts v Victoria, CLT20 2010, Centurion

Stags Elect to Bat Against Victoria in CL T20 Tie

Centurion: New Zealand's Central Stags skipper Jamie How won the toss and opted to bat against Australian domestic side Victoria Bushrangers in the 8th Champions League Twenty20 clash.

Central Districts Stags, the Twenty20 champions from New Zealand, head into their second Champions League after loosing the first match to IPL's winner Chennai Super Kings.

The New Zealand champion were missing the service of Ross Taylor, who had opted to play for the Royal Challengers Bangalore.

Despite all these, skipper Jamie How and his boys would be ready to play out of their skin and looking forward to register their first win in the tournament.

The Australian side may not have regular skipper Cameron White, who is turning out for Bangalore Royal Challengers, but in stand-in captain David Hussey, Brad Hodge, and Aaron Finch, Bushrangers have a host of Twenty20 specialists.

Bushrangers, who could not make the final of the inaugural edition of the league after losing to last year's winners New South Wales in the last four stage, will look to improve on their performance this time around.
