The Afghanistan and Ireland cricket teams toured to India in February and March 2019 to play three Twenty20 Internationals (T20Is), five One Day Internationals (ODIs) and a Test match.

It was Ireland's first Test to played overseas and the first Test match between the two sides. All of the fixtures were played at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium in Dehradun.

During second T20I on 23-Feb-2019, the Afghanistan team made the highest team total, with 278 for 3, which included the highest partnership for any wicket, with Hazratullah Zazai and Usman Ghani putting on 236 runs for the first wicket. Hazratullah Zazai scored 162 not out, the highest score for an Afghan batsman in a T20I match.

Afghanistan won one-off Test match, it was the Afghanistan maiden Test victory. Afghanistan won 3-match T20I series by 3-0. 5-match ODI series drawn 2-2 with second one-day international washes out.
