Edgbaston Test Suffers 2nd Day Washed Out

Birmingham: Rain washes out of the day two of the third and final Test between England and West Indies at Edgbaston on Friday after the first day was washed out.

Forecasts were for rain all day. This is the first time since 1964 (against Australia) that the first two days of an England home Test have been washed out. These days we can make up time when play does start, but although the forecast is better for tomorrow later in the weekend is dodgy again.

England won the first two tests at Lord's and Trent Bridge.
