England Eves Beat India by Two Wickets in T20

Mumbai: England women got the better of their Indian counterparts by two wickets off the last ball in the first T20 International at the MCA's Bandra-Kurla Complex ground here on Thursday.

Set a target of 126, the visitors achieved the target for the loss of eight wickets.

Jennifer Gunn top-scored for the tourists with 34 off 24 balls batting at no five before being eighth out.

Earlier, India made 125 for five with Mithali Raj making 30 off 26.
