Fleming Joins ECB Board of Directors

London: Matthew Fleming, the former Kent and England allrounder, has been appointed as MCC's representative on the ECB board of directors, replacing Keith Bradshaw who stood down in May.

Fleming has been an MCC member since 2004, serving on its commit from 2005-2008 and was recently re-elected for another three-year period.

In addition, his work for the separate MCC cricket committee this year took him to Afghanistan, where he unveiled a number of pitches and offered equipment to rural school areas, in association with another charity, The Afghan Connection.

Bradshaw, MCC's secretary and chief executive, stood down from the ECB board of directors earlier this year due to a conflict of interests.
