New Zealand-Pakistan Rain Washes Out Second ODI

Queenstown: The second ODI between New Zealand and Pakistan has been "called off" due to relentless rain. Only 4.2 overs were possible in the match and Pakistan managed to score 31/0.

That will be it for this match. Pity the fans and the players! But we can't fight the weather, can we? The third ODI will be played at Christchurch on Saturday, the 29th of January at 0100 GMT.

Earlier, rain delayed the start of play in the second one-day international between New Zealand and Pakistan after Kiwis captain Daniel Vettori won the toss and call Pakistan to bat in wet conditions.
