Wasim Akram's Wife Huma Passes Away

New Delhi: Former Pakistan cricket captain Wasim Akram's wife Huma, who was suffering from a mysterious fever, dies at a hospital in Chennai, according to hospital sources.

Huma Akram, wife of former Pakistan cricket team captain Wasim Akram, was battling for life for the past four days after the air ambulance carried her from Lahore to Singapore landed in Chennai for refuelling.

Huma was reportedly suffering from sepsis (an inflammation of several tissues including blood), leading to kidney failure.
