BCCI Inter-Corporate Tourney Draw on July 18

Mumbai: The draw for the inaugural Inter-Corporate tournament to be conducted by the Cricket Board in early September is to be held on July 18. 

"We have invited the representatives of the various teams for the meeting. The draw would be held and the fixtures would be finalised," BCCI sources said on Saturday.

The tournament, from September 1 to 8, originally involved 16 teams but has now been reformatted to feature 12 teams in four groups of three each, the sources said.

"The matches would be held in southern and northern centres," the sources said, adding that confirmation was awaited from Mohali whether it can host some matches.

The other centres shortlisted to conduct the matches are Chennai, Bangalore and Delhi, they added.
