Chennai Test Now Open After Sehwag Blitzkrieg Knock

Chennai: Virender Sehwag's fascinating innings came to an end when he fell leg before wicket to Graeme Swann to put India at 117/1 chasing 387 runs on the fourth day of the first Test at the M.A. Chidambaram stadium in Chennai.

The day started England's way with Andrew Strauss 108 (244b, 8x4) and Paul Collingwood 108 (250b, 9x4) both scoring centuries - Strauss his second of the match - but it was almost forgotten when Virender Sehwag put hell to leather after England declared on 311 for 9. Set 387 to win in just under four sessions, India were given an outrageous start by Sehwag, who made 83 off just 68 deliveries. He's no longer there but an assured Gautam Gambhir is, on 41
