India v England 2nd ODI At Indore, November 17, 2008

Indore: England think-tank happy for second ODI at Indore. Two main reason for England cheers, 1st match hero Yuvraj Singh may be out of Indore One-dayer and speed-star Sidebottm return in second match.

Cricket fans in Indore are praying for Yuvraj Singh to get fit enough to be able to play in the second One Day International match against England on Monday. Even with a dodgy back, the breathtaking innings he played at Rajkot has only increased their appetite for more of the same at MPCA stadium here.

These are still early days in the series is no reason to press the panic button, opined flabboyant Engalnd skipper Kevin Pietersen, who came second bet in his first clash with an equally free spirited Indian skipper MS Dhoni.

Highlights of the match

Drawing Board Yuvraj Singh's 'Rajkot Blaster' has give the Indians the perfect start in the series. Though the classy left-hander's inclusion looks doubtful, there is enough arsenal in the batting department. Yuvi's absence gives a respite to the English bowlers. KP would hope that Harmison and Flintoff comes good. The skipper and himself and Ravi Bopara showed that the Indians can be attacked.
Weather Expect pleasant conditions for a good game of cricket. With the mercury expected to read 30oC, it could be partly cloudy. Last time an ODI here took place in April, and the Englishmen wilted under the unbearable heat.
Pitch Maharani Usharaje Trust Cricket Ground in Indore had always presented batting beauties. India v England - Apr 15, 2006, India beat England by 7 wickets
ODDS 4/9 13/8
Head to head Total 66, India 34, England 30, NR 2
