India won the 2nd ODI against England by 54 runs

Indore: In form batsman Yuvraj Singh continued his onslaught as he slammed 10th ODI hundred, his 3rd against England. Yuvraj joined Gautam Gambhir when India big trouble at 29 for 3. Gambhir and Yuvi added 134-run for forth wicket.

Yuvraj Singh break 2nd wicket partnership of England and took two wicket in first spell. England take batting power play from 33-37 overs and hit 59 runs in 5 overs. After completion Power Play Dhoni re-call Yuvraj Singh and he strikes again taking four wickets to put England in a tight spot after Shah and Prior steadied the England innings. England is chasing India's total of 292 runs in the second ODI

It was the day of Yuvraj. He scored a brilliant century (118 on 122 balls) and took 4 vital (4/28 in 10 overs) wickets for India. Gautam Gambhir scored 70 of 76 balls and Yousuf Pathan chipped a quick 50 of 29 balls.

• England began well but ran into Yuvraj Singh again. Gambhir and Yusuf played the support cast as well India piled up 292-9. Yuvraj turned by claiming four wickets as India romped to a 2-0 lead in the series.
• 50 Runs made by Yusuf Pathan off just 29 balls, without being dismissed. This is his career best score and his maiden half-century.
• Yuvraj Singh is now the tenth all-rounder and the third Indian (after Sachin and Ganguly) to have recorded a century and claimed four wickets or more in the same ODI.
• Four wickets claimed by Stuart Broad, conceding 55 runs. These are his best bowling figures away from home.
• Indian skipper MS Dhoni became the first wicketkeeper to aggregate 1000 ODI runs in successive years - 2007 & 2008. Dhoni had scored 1103 runs at an average of 44.12in 37 matches in 2007. Now 2008, his score 1009 runs and 5 ODI to go in this year.
