Pragyan Ojha to Marry on May 16

Bhubaneshwar: The highest wicket-taker in the recently-concluded Indian Premier League, Pragyan Ojha is set for another innings marrying a post-graduate micro-biology student on May 16.

The girl Karabee had met Ojha at a party in Hyderabad one year ago, a family member disclosed adding both the families gave their nods for the marriage subsequently.

The left-arm spinner, who took the highest number of scalps in the third edition of the IPL, is currently busy with the corporate cup tournament in Mumbai.

He is scheduled to arrive eight days before the wedding day.

Despite being born and brought up in Orissa, Ojha had turned out for Hyderabad in the Ranji Trophy as he was staying in the 'Charminar city' for quite some time.

Karabee's parents, Prof Kailash Chandra Baral and Prof Chanchala Baral, are working at an university in Hyderabad while Ojha's family is based in Bhubaneswar.

The reception is slated to take place at a posh Bhubaneswar hotel.

"Had he been picked up for the T20 World Cup in West Indies, the marriage would have been delayed a little," a family member said.
