Rain Hits Sri Lanka-West Indies Test Series Drawn

Pallekele: The third and final Test between Sri Lanka and the West Indies ended in a draw after rain washed out play on the fifth day at the Pallekele International Stadium on Sunday.

The West Indies were 303/8 in their first innings at stumps on Saturday, with Sulieman Benn unbeaten on 29 and Kemar Roach on 12 not out.

The series ended 0-0 after rain played the spoilsport in all the three Tests in Galle, Colombo and Pallekele.

The West Indies and Sri Lanka will now play five one-day internationals, with the first match starting in Hambantota on Thursday.
