Rehman's Blows Set up Test Series Sweep

Dhaka: Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by seven wickets in the second and final Test in Dhaka on Wednesday to sweep the series 2-0.

Pakistan were set 103 to win after bowling Bangladesh out for 234 in their second innings and achieved the target in the final session on the fifth day at the Sher-e-Bangla stadium.

Pakistan captain Misbah-ul-Haq secured victory by lofting spinner Elias Sunny for a six after Mohammad Hafeez made 47 and Azhar Ali chipped in with 34.

Earlier, left-arm spinner Abdur Rehman took 4-51 to restrict Bangladesh's second innings despite half-centuries from Nasir Hossain and skipper Mushfiqur Rahim.

Pakistan had won the first Test by an innings and 184 runs in Chittagong.
