The Zimbabwean cricket team toured Sri Lanka in June and July 2017. Zimbabwe to play one Test match and five One Day Internationals (ODIs) from 30 June to 18 July. Originally, the schedule was for two Test matches and three ODIs.

This was Zimbabwe's first bilateral tour of Sri Lanka since 2001-02. Zimbabwe were first team chase down more than 300 in ODI in Sri Lanka. This was the Zimbabwe first-ever series win against Sri Lanka. Zimbabwe won the ODI series 3-2. Sri Lanka went on to win the one-off Test match by 4 wickets. This Test was only third time in Tests that all four innings have been between 300 and 400. Sri Lanka reached the target of 388 runs; recording the biggest chase in Sri Lanka and in Asia.
