Dhoni Rested, Kohli to Lead in Sri Lanka ODIs

Hyderabad: The BCCI on Tuesday announced a 15-man squad for the first three ODIs of the upcoming five-match series against Sri Lanka to be played next month.

Virat Kohli will lead India in the absence of MS Dhoni who has been rested from the series that starts from November 2.

The West Indies' decision to withdraw forced the BCCI to scramble together a hurried replacement series, with Sri Lanka Cricket accepting the board's invitation to play five ODIs between November 1 and 15.

The India 'A' team for a One Day practice match to be played at the Cricket Club of India against Sri Lanka was also announced. Manoj Tiwary will be captaining the 14-man squad that also features Rohit Sharma who is nursing a finger injury.
