Delhi Won't Host South Africa Test - BCCI

New Delhi: The Board of Control for Cricket in India has ruled out Delhi as a host to one of the two South Africa Tests to be held early next year.

The Feroz Shah Kotla was due to get a Test match as per the BCCI's rotation policy but after the huge fiasco in the capital where the fifth ODI between India and Sri Lanka had to be abandoned after 23.3 overs due to a poor pitch, the BCCI has decided to not give a game to Delhi in the next international series in India.

In fact, Kotla's fate as a venue to international games is in danger with the ICC to make a decision on it soon. It is likely that the venue may be banned and in that case, Delhi will lose its four World Cup games scheduled to be held in 2011.
