The Indian cricket team is currently touring to South Africa from 5 January to 24 February 2018 to play three Tests, six One Day Internationals (ODIs) and three Twenty20 International (T20I) matches.

Durban not host a Test against India this summer after Cape Town, Centurion and Johannesburg were named as the venues for South Africa's three-match Gandhi-Mandela Test series named Freedom Trophy. Earlier India schedule to play four Test, three ODIs and three T20Is but as India's home series against Sri Lanka will not conclude until 24 December 2017 so Boxing Day Test at Kingsmead will not take place.
