Sri Lanka Elect to Bowl Against Bangladesh

Mirpur: Sri Lankan captain Kumar Sangakkara won the toss and elected to bowl against Bangladesh in the fourth ODI of the Tri-series at Shere Bangla national stadium in Mirpur on Friday.

Sri Lanka are comfortably placed in the series after winning both their matches against Bangladesh and India, while its is exactly the opposite for hosts Bangladesh who have lost both their matches against India and Sri Lanka.

Riding on Thilan Samaraweera's unbeaten 105 Sri Lanka comfortably beat India by 5 wickets in the second ODI. In the first ODI Lanka beat Bangladesh by 7 wickets.

Though Bangladesh notched up a competitive 296 for 6 in the third ODI against India but that was not enough as captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni, Virat Kohli and Suresh Raina took their team to victory.
