Virat Kohli Back on Top in ICC ODI rankings

Dubai: Virat Kohli's sensational form in the ongoing India-New Zealand ODI series has earned him the coveted No.1 spot in the ICC ODI rankings.

Prior to the series, he was behind AB de Villiers at No.2, but scores of 123, 78 in consecutive ODIs won him back the top spot.

Kohli earned his best rating of 882 on 22nd January, when he became the outright No. 1 ODI batsman in the world. However, with only 6 in the 3rd ODI on 25th January, Kohli dropped a few points to end as joint No. 1 ODI batsman with ABD.

With 2 matches still left in the series, and South Africa not scheduled to play ODIs for quite some time now, Kohli has a great chance to increase the gap at the top.

With match-winning fifty in final ODI against England, Australia's George Bailey too moved to No. 3 with the highest rating points in his career.
