CSK Sign David Hussey to Replace Bravo

Chennai: CSK on Monday announced Australian allrounder David Hussey as the replacement for the injured Dwayne Bravo. Hussey, who went unsold at the IPL 7 auction, was on the commentary team for the tournament until Sunday.

West Indies allrounder Bravo was ruled out of the tournament after injuring his shoulder during CSK's first game of the season against Kings XI Punjab in Abu Dhabi on April 18, but the franchise didn't find a replacement until Hussey was brought in. At the February auctions, CSK had opted not to buy back their regular player Michael Hussey, David's brother, who was eventually purchased by Mumbai Indians.

It will be David Hussey's third team in the IPL. He had earlier played for Kolkata Knight Riders and Kings XI Punjab.
