India tour to Zimbabwe in July for ODIs and T20s

Harare: Zimbabwe Cricket (ZC) has confirmed that India will tour Zimbabwe next month after their Bangladesh visit.

Indian team will play three ODIs and two Twenty20 internationals in Zimbabwe from July 10 to 19.

The news was announced through ZC's official Twitter handle where the chairman of ZC Alistair Campbell said that it India's tour of Zimbabwe is confirmed and will happen in July.

They also stated that all the tour matches will be played in Harare and the schedule will soon be released by the end of his week.

"The schedule for the matches is almost done and should be released later this week. However, all the matches will be played in Harare."

One more tweet later said that they are very glad to host India and soon after them, New Zealand team will arrive to play in Zimbabwe.

Zimbabwe's head coach Dav Whatmore showed his happiness on the news by saying that it is good for his team to play more and more matches because only that why they can improve.

"The only way we can improve is by competition, I am pleased that we have a good number of matches lined up, just like any full member. Next up is India and we will be looking to continue improving."
