Mumbai: Chennai CSK defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad by eight wickets in this match. Sunrisers Hyderabad scored 178 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs in the IPL 2018 final match played at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on Sunday.
In response, Chennai Super Kings achieved the target by losing two wickets with nine balls to spare.
Super Kings have taken the title of the IPL 2018 title due to the spectacular innings of Shane Watson (117*).
Chennai Super Kings' start to chase the target of 179 runs that were disappointing CSK's first wicket fell only on score of 16 runs. Sandeep Sharma gave CSK opener Faf du Plessis (10) caught by himself on the last ball of the fourth over and caught a huge blow to Chennai Superkings. The first wicket partnership between Faf and Watson was just 16 runs.

Batting first, losing the toss, Sunrisers Hyderabad made the first shock on the fifth ball of the second over. Opener Srivats Goswami was run out after scoring 5 runs. For the first wicket, only 13 runs were shared between the two batsmen.
