Amit-Jadeja Helps Rajasthan Easy Win Against Bangalore

Centurion: Defending champions Rajasthan Royals beat Bangalore Royal Challengers by 7 wickets to win the 33rd match of the second edition of the Indian Premier League at SuperSport Park in Centurion on Thursday.

Opener Naman Ojha slammed a 38-ball 52 that was studded with 3 sixes and 3 fours as Rajasthan achieved the victory target of 106 runs with 5 overs to spare.

Amit Singh was adjudged the Man of the Match for taking 4 wickets as the victory enabled Rajasthan Royals to climb to the top of the points table.

Yusuf Pathan hit 2 fours in his 19-ball 22 before he was caught at deep square leg by Wasim Jaffer off Dillon du Preez.

Rajasthan Royals moved to the top of the table with a convincing seven-wicket win over Bangalore Royal Challengers, who looked out of depth as they were bowled out for 105 - the tournament's second lowest total - and conceded the win inside 15 overs.

Brief Score: Rajasthan Royals 107 for 3 (Ojha 52*) beat Royal Bangalore Challengers 105 (Singh 4-19, Jadeja 3-15) by seven wickets.
