New Delhi: A final decision on Indian Premier League (IPL) commissioner Lalit Modi's future with the Twenty20 league will be taken at the governing council meeting April 26, a day after the IPL final in Mumbai.

"We will take a unanimous and collective decision in the governing council meeting on April 26. Our total approach should be to protect the interest of Indian cricket, its fans and players. Lalit (Modi) is also a vice-president of the BCCI and he will accept any decision taken by the governing council", said Pawar.

Manohar, who is said to be oposed to Modi's continuance in the Twenty20 league, maintained that the governing council's decision will be final in determining the fate of the IPL supremo.

Asked if some members of the BCCI also want Modi out, Manohar said: "I haven't spoken to anyone so don't know what others want. My personal views and decisions doesn't carry any weight. But a unanimous and appropriate decision will be taken at the governing council meeting."
