England v South Africa, World Twenty20 warm-up

Morgan Shines in England Victory Over SA

Guyana: Eoin Morgan (63) shone with the bat to help England defeat South Africa by five wickets in their ICC World Twenty20 warm-up match in Bridgetown. Chasing 126 runs to win, England achieved the target in 19.3 overs.

Morgan formed a crucial partnership with Paul Collingwood (23) after England lost their top-three batsmen Lumb (4), Kieswetter (5) and Pietersen (0) early. South African paceman Rory Kleinveldt struck twice in his first over to remove Lumb and Pietersen cheaply.

However, Morgan and skipper Collingwood ensured that England start their tournament on a positive note.

Earlier, English bowler Michael Yardy took two crucial wickets to restrict South Africa for 125/5 in 20 overs. Duminy (30) and Morkel (32) helped the Proteas to a good total, which England got it in sufficient time.
