Mumbai Indians vs Kolkata Knight Riders at Port Elizabeth, April 27 - Preivew

Port Elizabeth: Mumbai Indians are willing to consider Saturday's 10-run loss to Team Hyderabad at Durban as a one-off thing, which they say is bound to happen in a tournament with a format as fickle as this one.

However, what they're also sure of is that they've got to keep it at just that - a one-off.

So, on Monday when they clash with the Knight Riders, Sachin Tendulkar's team will be looking to pull their socks up and get into winning ways again.

Such is the kind of form that Hyderabad are in that Mumbai simply had no chance despite the decent start provided by Tendulkar and followed up well by South African Jean Paul Duminy.

Tendulkar has time and again mentioned that Mumbai has the advantage of "a very balanced side with the likes of Jayasuriya, Zaheer, Harbhajan and Malinga and a bunch of talented youngsters".

Mumbai are up against a side that is suffering from its own innumerable issues.

The Knight Riders not only have bad form to contend with - apart from a few big names who are delivering now and then - there's also a lot of off-the-field distractions they've been forced to deal with. Mumbai will be looking to take advantage.

Kolkata Knight Riders have asked the senior pair of Aakash Chopra and Sanjay Bangar to return to India.
