Pakistan Announced T20 World Cup Squad

Karachi: Pakistan selectors have included Shahid Afridi, Kamran and Umar Akmal in the squad of 15 for the T20 World Cup.

However, they have not named the captain for the team, which would be travelling to the Caribbean for the World T20 event.

Also included in the team was youngster Hammad Azam, whose good showing in the under-19 World Cup led to his call-up.

Misbah ul-Haq and Salman Butt were also recalled to the team.

Mohammad Sami, Raza Hasan, Shahzaib Hasan, Naveed Yasin and Sarfraz Ahmed were named as the reserves.

Squad: Salman Butt, Mohammad Hafeez, Khalid Latif, Misbah-ul-Haq, Fawad Alam, Umar Akmal, Shahid Afridi, Abdul Razzaq, Yasir Arafat, Hammad Azam, Kamran Akmal, Umar Gul, Mohammad Asif, Mohammad Aamer and Saeed Ajmal.
