UAE Beat Kenya by Four Wickets in 2nd ODI

Nairobi: Kenya batsman Rakep Patel's maiden century was not enough as the UAE battled back to claim a four-wicket victory in the second one-day international at the Nairobi Gymkhana club grounds on Tuesday.

After being put into bat, Kenya, who won the first match by 66 runs on Monday, made 230/9 on the back of Patel's 124 off 154 balls, which included six sixes and nine fours.

He also shared a middle-order partnership with Tanmay Mishra, who contributed 51.

The UAE lost an early wicket in their run chase, but Amjad Ali (60) and an unbeaten 65 from skipper Khurram Khan propelled their hot pursuit.

They managed to overhaul the Kenyan total with 20 balls to spare.

The two teams meet again in the four-day ICC Intercontinental Cup opening match at the same venue on Thursday.
