Aussies Elect to Bat Against England

Brisbane: Australia won the toss and chose to bat against England in the fifth one-day international at the Gabba in Brisbane on Sunday.

England must win to keep the seven-match series alive, with Australia leading 3-1.

Both sides made forced changes for the match, which is a fundraiser for victims of the recent Queensland floods.

Australia recalled paceman Mitchell Johnson at the expense of spinner Xavier Doherty, who has a slight back problem.

England had to leave out paceman Chris Tremlett due to a side strain, allowing fellow quick bowler Steve Finn to make his ODI debut.

Spinner Michael Yardy was dropped for youngster Chris Woakes.
