Karachi: Left-arm fast-medium bowler Rahat Ali has been roped into Pakistan's squad for the upcoming World Cup in place of injured Junaid Khan.
Rahat, 26, who has been a regular in the test team.
Earlier in the week, Junaid was ruled out of the World Cup following his failure to clear a fitness test.
However, Rahat Ali has played only one ODI match against Sri Lanka two years ago in June 2012, the Dawn reported.
Junaid picked up a hamstring injury in his right leg while practicing during the third day of the national training camp at the Gaddafi Stadium before the team travelled to New Zealand last month.
