Bangalore Royal Challengers v Delhi Daredevils, IPL 2012, Bangalore

Bangalore: There's usually a buzz when Royal Challengers Bangalore are playing. They're among the IPL's richer, more high-profile teams with flamboyant owners and several star players.

In Delhi, containing big-hitting opener Virender Sehwag and putting up a good fielding show are part of Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Daniel Vetorri's plans to stymie Delhi Daredevils in their Indian Premier League (IPL) match on Saturday.

"I think if we field well and limit some of the damage Sehwag can do that will be part of our plan. If we do that consistently we may give ourselves a chance," Vettori told reporters before a net session.

On being slow starters in previous IPL matches, Vettori said the team management has been talking about it and found out that poor fielding had let them down at the start of last IPL and Champions League.

The RCB skipper said he was very happy with this year's team, which has been bolstered by Andrew Mcdonald and Vinay Kumar, who is making a comeback.

Vettori hoped that the RCB meet fans' expectations and go one step further this time around.

Vettori said AB de Villiers would be donning the wicket-keeping gloves in tomorrow's match.

Asked about the Chinnaswamy wicket, Vettori said he didn't see it, but hoped it would play as it did last IPL.

On Virat Kohli, Vettori said the Indian vice-captain was a revelation in Australia and Asia Cup.

An impressive 2010 IPL season with Mumbai Indians that included three fifties helped Saurabh Tiwary win a call-up to the national team and a bumper, millon-dollar signing with the Royal Challengers for 2011. However, Tiwary had a relatively quiet campaign last year, with 187 runs from 13 innings; he'd want to do much more than that this time around.
