Chennai Super Kings v Royal Challengers Bangalore, IPL 2012, Chennai

Bangalore Opt to Bat; Bhatkal in for Patel

Chennai: Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Daniel Vettori won the toss and decided to bat against Chennai Super Kings in their IPL 5 match at in Chennai.

sBangalore made only one change as Harshal Patel made the way for Raju Bhatkal. Chennai, on the other hand, have retained the same playing eleven.

It's been a stop-start beginning for both Chennai and Bangalore in the IPL. While Dhoni's boys have won one game out of the three, Bangalore, after an impressive start, fared poorly against Kolkata. Now, it's time to get back to winning ways and the teams are all charged up.

Super Kings were outplayed at home by Mumbai Indians in the opening tie. They bounced back to outplay Deccan Chargers only to meekly surrender to Delhi Daredevils.

The Royal Challengers are also coming into the match with a defeat against Kolkata Knight Riders in Bangalore after an impressive victory over Delhi Daredevils in their first fixture.

Bangalore's biggest ace will be Muttiah Muralitharan, who has been in outstanding form in the IPL so far. He knows all about Chennai conditions, after playing for the franchise for three years, and it's to be seen how the likes of Dhoni handle him.
