Established in 1989 and named after Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru, India's first Prime Minister it has a capacity of 27,300 but it is not a regular venue for the ODI's. Located in the holiday hotspot Goa, this stadium has arguably the best location. This is also used to host other sports and the installation of floodlights in 1989 has increased its demand. It hosted its first ODI between Australia and Sri Lanka on October 25, 1989.
