The 2016 Asia Cup was a Twenty20 International cricket tournament that was held in Bangladesh from 19 February to 6 March 2016. It was the 13th edition of the Asia Cup, the fifth to be held in Bangladesh, and the first have played using the T20I format. All 11 matches including the final played at Shere Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur. Over-all this will be 13th edition.

Four Test nation India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, Bangladesh and one qualifiers UAE participates in the Asia Mega events.

India beat Bangladesh by 8 wickets in the final to win their sixth Asia Cup title.
