The 2023 Asia Cup was the 16th edition of the men's Asia Cup. The matches were played as One Day Internationals (ODIs) with Pakistan as the official host. It was held in Pakistan and Sri Lanka, between 30 August to 17 September 2023.

It is the first Asia Cup to be held in multiple countries, with four matches to be played in Pakistan and the remaining nine matches to be played in Sri Lanka, held in a "hybrid format" with the games organised in two countries.

The five full members of the Asian Cricket Council are part of the tournament: Afghanistan, Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka. They are joined by Nepal, who qualified by winning the 2023 ACC Men's Premier Cup.

India and Pakistan have been grouped together alongside Nepal while Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Afghanistan were the sides featuring in the other group.

Sri Lanka was the defending champions.

India won the 2023 Asia Cup, by beating defending champion Sri Lanka by ten wickets, India chase the target in 37-delivery only.
