Sri Lanka Fight Back After Robson Ton

Leeds: Sam Robson struck his maiden Test century as England ended day two of the second and final Test with Sri Lanka at Headingley 63 runs ahead.

Opener Robson, 24 and playing only his second Test, made 127 from 253 balls with 15 fours and a six.

Skipper Alastair Cook went cheaply again, taken at slip for 17, but Robson and Gary Ballance (74) put on 142.

Ian Bell made 64 in his 100th Test but three wickets fell for two runs in 24 balls as England closed on 320-6.

The series is level at 0-0 after the first Test was drawn.
