South Africa Beat Bangladesh by 128 Runs in 2nd ODI

Benoni: South Africa beat Bangladesh by 128 runs and unbeaten led in the three match series by 2-0.

Bangladesh's top order gave a near-impossible run chase a fair crack in the early stages of their reply, but despite the ferocious striking of Tamim Iqbal. He raced to 41 off 22 balls before Dale Steyn settled South Africa by winning an enticing battle, while the increasingly dependable Johan Botha struck twice to create further pressure.

In Bangladesh innings South Africa conceder 29 extras with 23 wide balls. Dale Steyn (3 for 48) and Johan Both (3 for 27) heros of African bowling attack in 10 overs quota.

Earlier, Hashim Amla made a first ODI century as South Africa's batsmen feasted on the Bangladesh bowling in the second one-day international at Willowmoore Park, Benoni. Opening batsman Amla struck an elegant 140 (134b, 8x4, 4x6) as South Africa slammed 358 for four, their highest total in a one-day game against Bangladesh and set target 359 in 50 overs game.

It was a successful return for Smith, who was playing in his first match since returning from a tour of England in August because of a tennis elbow injury.
