The rain-hit third Test between India and New Zealand ended in a draw. India won the 3-match series 1-0 to register their first win in New Zealand since 1968.

Chasing imposibable target of 617 runs to win, New Zealand were 167 for four in their second innings when bad light forced early stumps on fourth Day of the third Test against India in Wellington.

Rahul Dravid set a world record for most catches by a fielder when he snapped up Tim McIntosh for his 182nd catch. The previous record of 181 was held by Australia's Mark Waugh.
