The T20 World Cup 2026 is the tenth cricket World cup in the shorten format.

20 teams are form part of the event and will be divided into four groups of five.

The top two teams in each of the groups move to a Super Eight phase, where the teams split into two groups of four.

Points are awarded in the group stage and Super eights phase as follows:
