The 2020-23 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League will be the inaugural edition of the One Day International (ODI) league. The league will last from 30 July 2020 to 31 March 2023 and will serve as part of the qualification process for the 2023 Cricket World Cup.

It will feature thirteen teams, the twelve Full members of the International Cricket Council (ICC) and the Netherlands, who won the 2015-17 ICC World Cricket League Championship to qualify for this competition. Each team will play an ODI series against eight of the twelve opponents, four series at home and four away. Each series will consist of three ODIs.

With the top 12 teams in the 2020-23 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League automatically qualifying for the next Cricket World Cup Super League, the 13th spot will be taken by one of either the 13th ranked team in 2020-23 ICC Cricket World Cup Super League or the champions of the 2019-22 ICC Cricket World Cup League 2.

Therefore the four countries that each side will not face in this tournament, are as follows.

  • Afghanistan - England, New Zealand, South Africa and West Indies
  • Australia - Bangladesh, Ireland, Netherlands and Sri Lanka
  • Bangladesh - Australia, India, Netherlands and Pakistan
  • England - Afghanistan, New Zealand, West Indies and Zimbabwe
  • India - Bangladesh, Ireland, Netherlands and Pakistan
  • Ireland - Australia, India, Pakistan and Sri Lanka
  • Netherlands - Australia, Bangladesh, India and Sri Lanka
  • New Zealand - Afghanistan, England, South Africa and Zimbabwe
  • Pakistan - Bangladesh, India, Ireland and Sri Lanka
  • South Africa - Afghanistan, New Zealand, West Indies and Zimbabwe
  • Sri Lanka - Australia, Ireland, Netherlands and Pakistan
